Goizueta Business School students and alumni gathered for an unforgettable Homecoming this past weekend filled with nostalgia and new friends. This year’s theme, Emory Heart + Atlanta Soul, captured the spirit of the Homecoming season, and alumni hit the high note gathering both across campus and the wider Atlanta community.
“Homecoming and Reunion Weekend is without a doubt my favorite time of year. It is incredibly heartwarming to see alumni coming back to campus (often with their families) and flying in from all over the world to reminisce and create new memories with their cherished classmates,” says Lindsay Topping, Goizueta managing senior director of alumni engagement. “We had a lot of fun this year and are so grateful to our alumni—and the many faculty and staff who pitched in—for keeping the Goizueta spirit strong.”

The weather couldn’t have been more welcoming for The Alumni Homecoming Kickoff party on Friday night. The party on McDonough Field brought together hundreds of alumni for an evening of food, drinks, live entertainment, and conversations with classmates and faculty.
The festivities continued the next day as thousands of alumni, students, and parents mingled around the Woodruff Physical Education Center and McDonough Field, where Goizueta’s tent was a hub for alumni to stop by and catch up with former classmates and staff. Saturday’s events included the “Back to Class” sessions, where Goizueta faculty led a dynamic panel discussion on AI and tackled the ethical and technical challenges that AI presents in today’s industries.

Rekindling Connections at Goizueta Reunions
Merriment and mirth continued with special milestone reunions for the classes of 1994, 2004, 2014, and 2019. Each group celebrated in unique ways, from private gatherings at classmates’ homes to reunions at local venues like Wild Heaven Beer and 5Church Buckhead.
