Scott Bernard’s company sees the future, and it’s covered in grease.
Bernard is VP at B Green Group, which takes used cooking oil and other kitchen bi-products and refines them to the building blocks of bio fuels.
“I believe that sustainable business is the future of our economy,” Bernard told Emory Business magazine. “The other day I visited a plant that takes waste concrete road dividers, grinds them up, and uses the waste concrete as filler for new dividers. It’s brilliant, both as a business model and as an innovation for the sustainability movement.”
