Traditionally, November signals the start of holiday shopping, and Black Friday sales serve as a signifier of economic conditions. Emory University’s Doug Bowman, Goizueta Business School professor of marketing, spoke to NBC News about retailers’ planning and what shoppers should expect for Black Friday sales.
