Dean Larry Benveniste offers his thoughts and support in a message to the Goizueta community.
Yesterday, we were deeply saddened by the news of the horrific events in Boston during the running of the 117th Boston Marathon. As details of the situation continue to unfold in the coming hours, days and weeks, I want to say that Goizueta sends our support and love to the city of Boston and the many individuals affected by this senseless act of violence. We offer thoughts and prayers to everyone impacted by this tragedy, knowing that the implications of such an act go far beyond the city itself. To those in our community and around the world who are awaiting news on loved ones, associates, alumni and friends in the area during the attack, know that we share your concern and stand with you in the face of this incident.
We open our hearts to you all and will continue to hope for peace for those touched by this event.
