In reading this article, I was reminded of the impact Patmon’s success as the kicker in this Army-Navy Game 20 years ago had on his MBA candidacy. When Patmon applied to Emory’s MBA program 8 years after his graduation from West Point, fellow West Point grads who were enrolled here, reached out to me because they knew who he was. They proudly shared this story and how impressed they were with Patmon’s ability to stay calm under such tremendous pressure.
