Goizueta Business School recently donated studio camera equipment to a metro-Atlanta education program.
As reported by the Newnan Times-Herald, Goizueta’s Alan Pogue facilitated the donation which included cameras and a video switcher “valued at approximately $30,000.” The equipment was donated to the Central Educational Center’s Broadcast Video program.
“CEC has a very strong broadcast video program, and this donation will hopefully be very helpful to these students,” Pogue told the paper. “At the business school we emphasize social enterprise, in particular educational partnerships, and we had an opportunity to support this program.”
“This equipment that they have donated is advanced equipment that is rarely found at a high school,” added Michael Britt, director of the video program. “It opens up opportunities of new levels of experience for our students.
