Perry-Smith joined the Goizueta Business School faculty after completing her Ph.D. in management in the College of Management at Georgia Tech. Her areas of specialization include the effects of informal social networks on creativity and the impact of work-life initiatives on firm and individual performance.
She said by having various perspectives in the class room, professors can lead conversations that cross cultures and allow students to understand how certain events would play out depending on the location around the globe.
