Alumni spanning several decades gathered Feb. 17 at the Georgia Aquarium for the annual Goizueta Alumni Awards Celebration and in recognition of the Goizueta Marketing Strategy Consultancy (GMSC), which celebrates its 20th year in 2011.
“We’ve got a lot to celebrate,” Dean Larry Benveniste reported to the audience. “Our school is doing great.”
Benveniste noted success of the Center for Alternative Investments, graduate hirings in a tough economy and honors bestowed on faculty in recent months.
But the highlight of the evening came in recognition of GMSC’s rich tradition in offering first-hand consulting experience to first-year MBA students (video) and in the honoring of alums for their service to industry, school and community.
